Prices of cottonseed oil cake on Wednesday fell by Rs 22 to Rs 3,629 per quintal in futures trade as participants reduced their bets following a weak trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for December delivery traded lower by Rs 22, or 0.60 percent, at Rs 3,629 per quintal with an open interest of 15,670 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at the existing levels amid a subdued market trend weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.
