Guar seed prices experienced a decline of Rs 107, settling at Rs 8,292 per quintal in futures trade on Monday, driven by ample supplies.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for November delivery decreased by Rs 107, or 1.27 percent, to Rs 8,292 per quintal, accompanied by an open interest of 76,570 lots.
Market participants attributed the decline in guar seed prices to rising supplies from cultivating regions.
