Due to an excess of supply, guar seed prices in futures exchange dropped 86 rupees, to 7,819 rupees per quintal, on Tuesday.
For November delivery, guar seed futures on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange dropped 86 rupees, or 1.09 percent, to 7,819 rupees a quintal, with 79,420 lots of open interest.
As a result of an increase in supply from growing regions, marketmen said, guar seed prices fell.
