Guar gum prices experienced an increase of Rs 332, reaching Rs 13,756 per quintal in futures trading on Tuesday, driven by speculators augmenting their positions in response to robust spot demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for November delivery experienced an increase of Rs 332, or 2.47 percent, reaching Rs 13,756 per quintal, accompanied by an open interest of 55,825 lots.
In response to a discernible trend within the physical market, traders increased their positions, resulting in an uptick in guar gum prices, analysts noted.
