Guar seed prices experienced an increase of Rs 158, reaching Rs 7,125 per quintal in futures trade on Tuesday, driven by heightened investor speculation.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for November delivery increased by Rs 158, or 2.27 percent, reaching Rs 7,125 per quintal, accompanied by an open interest of 925 lots.
Market participants indicated that increased speculation by investors bolstered guar seed futures contracts.
