Guar gum prices experienced an increase of Rs 64, reaching Rs 11,792 per quintal in futures trade on Monday, driven by speculators augmenting their holdings in response to robust spot demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for September delivery experienced an increase of Rs 64, or 0.55 per cent, reaching Rs 11,792 per quintal, accompanied by an open interest of 62,870 lots.
In response to a firm physical market trend, traders increased their positions, resulting in a rise in guar gum prices, analysts noted.
