Guar seed prices increased by Rs 12 to Rs 8,210 per quintal in futures trading on Thursday, driven by heightened investor speculation.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for November delivery increased by Rs 12, or 0.15 percent, reaching Rs 8,210 per quintal, accompanied by an open interest of 35,005 lots.
Market participants indicated that increased speculation by investors bolstered guar seed futures contracts.
