Guar seed prices increased by Rs 151 to reach Rs 8,294 per quintal in futures trade on Tuesday, driven by heightened investor speculation.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for November delivery increased by Rs 151, or 1.85 percent, reaching Rs 8,294 per quintal, with an open interest of 43,820 lots.
Marketmen said higher bets by investors supported guar seed futures contracts.
