Cottonseed oil cake prices increased by Rs 24 to reach Rs 3,748 per quintal in futures trade on Tuesday, driven by speculators establishing new positions in response to heightened demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for December delivery experienced an increase of Rs 24, or 0.64 percent, reaching Rs 3,748 per quintal, accompanied by an open interest of 17,240 lots.
Market participants indicated that the expansion of positions by traders, driven by a rising demand for cattle feed, primarily impacted the prices of cottonseed oil cake.
