Guar seed prices experienced a decline of Rs 205, settling at Rs 8,100 per quintal in futures trade on Monday, attributed to ample supplies in the market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for November delivery decreased by Rs 205, or 2.47 percent, to 8,100 per quintal, accompanied by an open interest of 68,835 lots.
Market participants attributed the decline in guar seed prices to rising supplies from cultivation areas.
