Cottonseed oil cake prices increased by Rs 4 to Rs 3,735 per quintal in futures trade on Friday, driven by speculators establishing new positions in response to heightened demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for December delivery experienced an increase of Rs 4, or 0.11 percent, reaching Rs 3,735 per quintal, accompanied by an open interest of 16,580 lots.
Market participants indicated that the expansion of positions by traders, driven by a rising demand for cattle feed, primarily impacted the prices of cottonseed oil cake.
