Cottonseed oil cake prices on Tuesday increased by Rs 6 to reach Rs 3,425 per quintal in futures trade, driven by speculators establishing new positions in response to heightened demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for December delivery experienced an increase of Rs 6, or 0.17 percent, reaching Rs 3,425 per quintal, accompanied by an open interest of 12,960 lots.
Market participants indicated that the expansion of positions by traders, in response to rising demand for cattle feed, primarily impacted cottonseed oil cake prices.
