Guar seed prices experienced a decline of Rs 45, settling at Rs 6,805 per quintal in futures trade on Friday, attributed to abundant supplies in the market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for October delivery decreased by Rs 45, or 0.66 percent, settling at Rs 6,805 per quintal, accompanied by an open interest of 61,725 lots.

Market participants attributed the decline in guar seed prices to rising supplies from cultivation areas.
