Coriander prices on Thursday increased by Rs 334, reaching Rs 14,824 per quintal in futures trade, propelled by heightened demand in the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander contracts for October delivery increased by Rs 334, or 2.31 percent, reaching Rs 14,824 per quintal in 23,235 lots.

Market analysts indicated that coriander prices received support from increased demand in the spot market alongside constrained supplies from producing regions.
