Guar seed prices experienced a slight decline, settling at Rs 6,687 per quintal in futures trading on Thursday, attributed to sufficient supply levels.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for October delivery decreased by Rs 1, or 0.01 percent, settling at Rs 6,687 per quintal, accompanied by an open interest of 62,955 lots.

Market participants attributed the decline in guar seed prices to rising supplies from cultivation areas.
