On Tuesday, guar seed prices decreased by Rs 11, settling at Rs 6,281 per quintal in futures trade, attributed to ample supplies in the market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for September delivery decreased by Rs 11, or 0.17 per cent, settling at Rs 6,281 per quintal, accompanied by an open interest of 41,210 lots.

Market participants attributed the decline in guar seed prices to rising supplies from cultivation areas.
