On Tuesday, guar gum prices rose by Rs 40 to reach Rs 11,382 per quintal in futures trading, driven by speculators increasing their holdings in response to robust spot demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for July delivery experienced an increase of Rs 40, or 0.35 per cent, reaching Rs 11,382 per quintal, accompanied by an open interest of 44,620 lots.
The contract concluded at Rs 11,342 per quintal on Monday.
