Cottonseed oil cake prices on Wednesday increased by Rs 5 to Rs 3,595 per quintal in futures trade, driven by speculators establishing new positions in response to heightened demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for June delivery experienced an increase of Rs 5, or 0.14 per cent, reaching Rs 3,595 per quintal, accompanied by an open interest of 51,800 lots.

In the previous session, it concluded at Rs 3,590 per quintal.
