Cottonseed oil cake prices on Monday declined by Rs 5 to Rs 3,665 per quintal in futures trade, as participants decreased their positions, reflecting a subdued trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for December delivery experienced a decline of Rs 5, or 0.14 percent, settling at Rs 3,665 per quintal, accompanied by an open interest of 16,340 lots.
Analysts indicated that a selloff by participants at current levels, in the context of a subdued market trend, exerted downward pressure on cottonseed oil cake prices.
