Guar seed prices decreased by Rs 29, settling at Rs 7,984 per quintal in futures trade on Friday, influenced by abundant supplies.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for November delivery decreased by Rs 29, or 0.36 percent, settling at Rs 7,984 per quintal, accompanied by an open interest of 55,520 lots.
Marketmen attributed the fall in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
