Guar seed prices increased by Rs 129 to reach Rs 7,845 per quintal in futures trading on Wednesday, driven by heightened investor speculation.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for November delivery increased by Rs 129, or 1.67 percent, reaching Rs 7,845 per quintal, accompanied by an open interest of 56,450 lots.
Market participants indicated that increased speculation by investors bolstered guar seed futures contracts.
