At Rs 6,064 a quintal, the price of guar seed was slightly lower on Thursday in futures trading, despite the fact that there was an abundance of supplies.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for August delivery dropped by Rs 6, which is equivalent to 0.10 percent, to Rs 6,064, with an open interest of 50,690 lots.

During the previous session, it had reached a finish price of Rs 6,070 per quintal.
