On Thursday, guar seed prices experienced a decline of Rs 53, settling at Rs 6,290 per quintal in futures trade, attributed to ample supplies in the market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for August delivery declined by Rs 53, or 0.84 per cent, to Rs 6,290 per quintal, accompanied by an open interest of 59,080 lots.

The decline in guar seed prices has been attributed by market participants to the rising supplies from producing regions.
