On Tuesday, guar seed prices increased by Rs 110, reaching Rs 6,376 per quintal in futures trade, driven by heightened investor speculation.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for August delivery increased by Rs 110, or 1.76 per cent, to Rs 6,376 per quintal, accompanied by an open interest of 54,910 lots.

Market participants indicated that increased investor speculation, even in the face of declining spot prices, bolstered guar seed prices in futures trading.
