Coriander prices on Monday surged by Rs 300 to reach Rs 12,986 per quintal in futures trade, driven by speculators amplifying their positions in response to a robust trend observed in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander contracts for June delivery increased by Rs 300, or 2.36%, reaching Rs 12,986 per quintal, with an open interest of 27,650 lots.
It concluded at Rs 12,686 per quintal in the prior session.
