As a result of the abundant supply of guar seeds in the market, the prices of guar seeds dropped by 24 rupees on Friday, reaching a final price of Rs 5,768 per quintal in futures trading.
Guar seed contracts for delivery in June settled at Rs 5,768 a quintal on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, with an open interest of 61,640 lots. This is a decrease of Rs 24, or 0.42 percent, from the previous price.
Participants in the market have established a connection between the decrease in guar seed costs and the increase in supplies coming from cultivation areas.
