In futures trading, the price of guar seeds has gone up by Rs 10, coming to Rs 4,702 a quintal. This increase is the result of speculators enlarging their holdings in response to a powerful trend that has been witnessed in the spot market.
Guar seed contracts for December delivery on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange saw a Rs 10 increase, which is a 0.21 percent gain. As a result, the price rose to Rs 4,702 per quintal, and the open interest was recorded at 53,485 lots.
According to market analysts, the primary factors that have contributed to the increase in guar seed prices include the rise in speculative activity, a strong trend in the spot market, and the restricted supply coming from production areas.
