In the context of futures trading, the prices of guar seeds witnessed a decrease of Rs 28, ultimately reaching a level of Rs 4,823 per quintal. This decrease may be linked to the availability of abundant supply circumstances that are currently in place.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, the contracts for guar seed that were due for delivery in December witnessed a fall of Rs 28, which is equivalent to a decrease of 0.58%. As a result, the price of guar seed dropped to Rs 4,823 per quintal. A total of 31,875 lots were part of the open interest.
The decrease in the cost of guar seeds has been attributed by market participants to the increased influx of supply that are emanating from the growing cultivation areas.
