The futures market witnessed a decrease in the pricing of guar seeds, which experienced a decrease of Rs 14, ultimately closing at Rs 4,900 per quintal. This movement can be linked to the current abundant supply conditions that are in place.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, the contracts for guar seed that were due for delivery in November witnessed a fall of Rs 14, which is equivalent to a decrease of 0.29%. As a result, the price of guar seed dropped to Rs 4,900 per quintal. There were 44,685 lots that were available for purchase.
The decrease in the cost of guar seeds has been attributed by market participants to the increased influx of supply that are emanating from the growing cultivation areas.
